Elite Palace Hotel in Stockholm is expanding its wellness offerings by providing guests with the opportunity to practice yoga directly in their hotel rooms. This initiative is a collaboration between figure skating profile and yoga instructor Sofie Roberg, Elite Palace Hotel, hotel specialist Gympak, and tech company Nonius.

Guests can now participate in yoga sessions via the in-room TV, allowing them the flexibility to exercise at their convenience. Sofie Roberg, known for her career in figure skating and as a finalist in Talang 2022, has developed these yoga sessions specifically for hotel guests.

"We want to provide our guests with a holistic experience where they can relax and take care of both body and mind without leaving the room," says Sofie Roberg. "By offering yoga directly through the TV, we make it easy and accessible for everyone."

Technology enables wellness in the room
Tech company Nonius has provided the technical solution, along with Gympak, to make this possible. Their interactive TV system seamlessly integrates the yoga sessions, offering guests a user-friendly and engaging experience. In addition to yoga on the TV, mental and physical health training is also available. "We are proud of this unique and wonderful collaboration," says Jone Sølvik, CEO of Gympak.

Vana Spa is already offering yoga
Previously, Elite Palace Hotel's Vana Spa has offered yoga classes in a relaxing environment, focusing on energy, balance, and flow for both beginners and more advanced practitioners. Vana Spa is one of Stockholm's largest spa facilities, offering a wide range of treatments and amenities to promote health and well-being.

"We are pleased to expand our wellness offerings and provide our guests with even more opportunities to take care of their well-being during their stay," says Jessica Carlde, General Manager of Elite Palace Hotel.

Increased demand for wellness facilities
According to a survey by McKinsey, 58% of American consumers now prioritize health and well-being more than they did a year ago. This reflects a global trend where travelers are seeking hotels that offer wellness facilities and services as part of their stay.

Elite Palace Hotel continues to be a leader in the hotel industry by integrating wellness and technology, providing guests with an unforgettable and health-promoting stay.
