    H&M Foundation provides USD 250,000 in emergency relief after Morocco earthquake

    In response to the devastating earthquake that has taken place in Morocco, the H&M Foundation supports the Red Cross/Red Crescent in their response to this disaster. On 8 September, at 11:11 pm local time, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit central Morocco. Its epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains, southwest of Marrakesh city. This is considered the most powerful earthquake in a century to strike Morocco.     In response to the extremely severe Cyclone Mocha that has hit Myanmar and Bangladesh, H&M Foundation is donating USD250,000 to the Red Cross/Red Crescent In the afternoon of 14 May 2023 an extremely severe Cyclone Mocha, the strongest one in the last 10 years, hit the coastal areas along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds, flooding, and landslides in coastal and low laying areas.     In response to the devastating earthquakte that has taken place in Türkiye and Syria, H&M Foundation is donating 250,000 USD each to the Red Cross / Red Crescent and Save the Children. Two devastating earthquakes hit south-eastern Türkiye, near the Syrian border on Monday February 6.
