Hafslund – Shutdown of two turbines

The hydro power production at two turbines with total installed capacity of 150 MW is shut down due to operational incidents. The shutdowns are caused by, respectively, a leak in the shaft sealing box and a defective part. It is uncertain how long the outage will last. An update will be given in Hafslund’s report to shareholders for 2. Quarter 2012, which will be published on 2012-07-11 at about 8:00 a.m. The shutdowns are assumed to be insurance matters in relation to both water loss and property damage with a total deductible of NOK 8 mill (NOK 4 mill plus NOK 4 mill).
