Hafslund ASA has today made an agreement to buy 4,3 % of the shares in Mjøskraft AS and is increasing its ownership to 54,2 %. The purchase price is MNOK 34,6.

The municipalities Gjøvik and Østre Toten is at the same time given a right to sell their remaining shares, 45,7 % for a total of MNOK 319 during certain periods in 2004 and 2005.

 

Mjøskraft had in year 2002 a turnover of MNOK 290, an Ebitda of MNOK 80 and a result after tax of MNOK 40.

Mjøskraft AS will from January 1, 2003 be consolidated into Hafslund ASA.
