HNA - PURCHASE OF 34,4 PERCENT OF THE SHARES IN TINDRA AS
The transaction will be made effective from 1 April 2002 with settlement 1 May 2002.
Hafslund already owns the energy retail companies Oslo Energi AS (100 percent), and Øko Kraft AS (75 percent). Tindra has 235,000 own customers and ownership shares in other energy retail companies in Scandinavia with approx. 80,000 customers. Hafslund Group has thus more than 700,000 energy retail customers.
This agreement makes it possible to coordinate energy retail and trading businesses within the Hafslund Group.
Tindra had a turnover of NOK 1,426 in 2001. The company has 63 employees.
