Hafslund has entered an agreement with B2 Bredband Holding AB, fully owned by Telenor ASA, to acquire 100% of the shares in Bredbåndsfabrikken AS. Hafslund today owns, through Hafslund ToKom, more than 600 kilometer of broadband in the region of Oslo. The acquisition of Bredbåndsfabrikken represents an extension of Hafslund's infrastructure and a good platform for Hafslund's further expansion within broadband.

Bredbåndsfabrikken has over 60 kilometer broadband in Oslo, in the areas of Grünerløkka, Tøyen, Sagene, Grønland, Torshov and Oppsal, and a further 30 kilometer of infrastructure routes suitable for broadband. Bredbåndsfabrikken has about 2 500 active customers and agreements with 85 housing cooperatives in Oslo.
