HNA/HNB - Fourth-quarter and preliminary 2007 results
Hafslund - Highlights fourth-quarter 2007
- After-tax profit of NOK 13,338 million (NOK 11,650 million), of which NOK 12,199 million (NOK 10,635 million) is attributable to the Group's investment in Renewable Energy Corporation (REC).
- Operating profit excluding REC: NOK 1,906 million (NOK 2,105 million) - down 9 percent from 4Q 2006.
- Lower power prices for considerable periods resulted in a NOK 495 million reduction in Power Generation's profit, compared with 2006.
- Return on equity, excluding REC: 16.1 percent for the 12-month period ending 31 December (16.3 percent for the 2006 accounting year).
- Board of Directors proposes per-share dividend of NOK 3.00 (NOK 2.75).
