Hege Yli Melhus, Group Executive VP Markets, has decided to resign from her position at Hafslund ASA. As well as heading the Markets business unit, Hege Yli Melhus has been a member of Hafslund's Group management.

 

"Hege Yli Melhus has been the driving force behind the positive developments at Hafslund Markets during recent years. She was responsible for restructuring the business unit, both significantly improving profitability and ensuring the area's preparedness for further growth. I would like take this opportunity to express my gratitude for her contribution to Hafslund," said Christian Berg, Hafslund's President and CEO.

 

"After spending over six years at Hafslund I have decided to seek new opportunities. My time at Hafslund has been very exciting and I have learned a great deal. I am proud to be leaving behind a very effective business unit that is staffed by motivated employees who are committed to further expansion," said Hege Yli Melhus.

 

Hafslund has commenced the process of finding a replacement for Hege Yli Melhus.
