HNA/HNB - Hafslund sells central grid to Statnett

Hafslund has entered into an agreement to sell central grid plants with adjacent properties in Oslo to Statnett SF. The value of the agreement is 331 million NOK and comes into effect from January 2011. The sale will give Hafslund a profit of approximately 20 million NOK.

The agreement involves the sale of the central grid of the stations Smestad, Sogn, Ulven and Furuset - with adjacent properties. These stations are major hubs for the power supply to Oslo.
