Hafslund ASA (HNA) has entered into an agreement to sell its biopower plant in Greenvill, USA. The buyer is New Energy Capital (www.newenergycapital.com). 

 

The sales price is USD 1.35 millions and has a marginally positive effect on Hafslund's net income. The sale will be effective from 1 September 2005. This sale concludes the process of exiting Hafslund's US operations. Following this sale, Hafslund has no operations in the US.
