Finn Bjørn Ruyter will take the position as the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from September 1. Ruyter (born 1964) has 15 years of experience from the Norwegian energy business. He was six years in Norsk Hydro in the areas of oil trading, refining and power trading, followed by 12 years in Elkem, of which the last ten years as Managing Director of Elkem Energi. Finn Bjørn Ruyter comes from a position as COO in the Philippine hydro power company SN Aboitiz Power in Manila.

Ruyter holds a graduate engineer degree and MBA. Ruyter and parties closely related to him hold 2000 shares in Hafslund.
