HNA/HNB Hafslund sells Nittedalsnettet AS and Bredbåndservice AS

Hafslund Telekom has entered into an agreement with Pronea AS regarding the sale of Nittedalsnettet AS and Bredbåndservice AS. Pronea AS will pay NOK 25 million for 100 % of the shares in both companies. The sale will be completed effective today, and will give a result close to the balance sheet value.
 
Nittedalsnettet AS and Bredbåndservice AS supply broadband services. Fibre-optic infrastructure will remain in Hafslund Telekom. The agreement involves a long-term lease agreement for Hafslund Telekom's fibre-optic infrastructure.
 
"The sale is a part of Hafslund Telekom's strategy of streamlining operations within infrastructure, and strengthening its position within the fibre market. The totality of the agreement is very good", states Trond Nedregård, Managing Director of Hafslund Telekom.
 
Nittedalsnettet AS and Bredbåndservice will now become part of a larger investment in broadband services within the company Pronea AS. Pronea AS is owned by Troms Kraft AS and Bredbåndsfylket Troms AS.
