HNA/HNB Hafslund to sell valueables transport operations and shares in NOKAS

Hafslund has entered an agreement with Vakt Service to sell Hafslund's valueables transport operations. Hafslund will further sell the 33.5% ownership share in Norsk Kontantservice AS (NOKAS). The transfer of the ownership share in NOKAS is conditional upon the other shareholders not exercising their right of first refusal. The transactions are further dependent upon approval by public authorities. The hand over will take place 1 September 2006.
 
The valuables transport operations of Hafslund has a yearly turnover of NOK 140 million and about 260 employees. Vakt Service will take over Hafslund's valueables transport customers with belonging cars, personnel and equipment.
 
The sale is part of Hafslund's strategy to concentrate the security operations within residential alarms, guard services and security technology.
