Hafslund ASA has today entered into an agreement with the municipality Haram to buy 100% of Haram Energi AS. The purchase price is NOK 53.7 million.
Haram Energi AS is a utility with 4,500 customers, and has energy distribution and sale of 125 GWh in 1996.
Hafslund ASA has today entered into an agreement to buy Pontook Hydro in New Hampshire USA for a total purchase price of USD 25 million. The average yearly production is 63 GWh, and the power is sold on a long term contract (maturity 2017) to New England Power Co. The Pontook hydro plant will be integrated with Hafslund§s other activities in the area.
