NOTICE TO THE STOCK EXCHANGES
Hafslund
Hafslund ASA has today entered into an agreement with the Board of A/L
Skedsmo & Sørum Elektrisitetsforsyning (S&SE) to buy the distribution
and marketing of electricity and other assets from the co-operative
society.
The purchase price is NOK 120 million for the distribution and marketing
of electricity and NOK 60 million for the working capital and other
assets.
S&SE is a utility with 10,000 customers located primarily in the
municipalities of Skedsmo and Sørum just outside of Oslo. Energy
distribution on a yearly basis is 300 GWh.
The agreement is subject to approval in the General Assembly of S&SE,
which is expected to take place ultimo January 1998.
