Rune Bjerke takes up in Hafslund ASA
His latest position was President and CEO of Scancem International. He started as Deputy Managing Director of Aker Sement og Byggevarer in 1995, and continued in Scancem International as Chief Financial Officer in 1997. He was appointed as General Manager for Asia and trading before he became President and CEO in 1999.
Rune Bjerke is 40 years old and has a business degree from the University of Oslo, and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, where he studied finance, energy, natural resources and relations between public authorities and industry and commerce.
