Haldex at IAA Commercial Vehicle Exhibition: Focus on range of innovation
Haldex is present at the 65th IAA Commercial Vehicles exhibition in Hanover with intelligent solutions that add value: This particular customer benefit is the competitive edge that Haldex was quick to identify and put into practice. Between September 25th and October 2nd, you can visit the Haldex stand C03 in hall 26, where we have selected a number of products with the motto ‘Creating Value’.
Overview of exhibits:
New: The air disc brakes DBT 22 MD and DBT 19 LT from ModulT disc brake family. Together with the tried-and-tested ModulT DBT 22 LT trailer brake, which is increasingly gaining market share, Haldex is exhibiting a total of three versions of the new disc brake. High stability, low weight and extremely simple servicing are the three factors behind the great success of the ModulT concept.
New: The EB+ Load Transfer provides optimal axle load balance for towing and towed units. Within the permitted limits, the EB+ Load Transfer system relieves load on the last trailer axle, thereby countering overload on the drive axles of the towing vehicle in the event of uneven load distribution in the trailer.
New: EB+ Soft Docking is the latest generation of this tried-and-tested ramp approach assistance. EB+ Soft Docking offers optimal rear area detection, further enhanced electronics and state-of-the-art sensors.
New: The new ILAS®-E+ lift axle valve offers an extremely rapid response thanks to optimised flow conditions. Up to seven ports give the customer outstanding flexibility when adding further connections.
New: Wave goodbye to unwanted dirt and foreign debris in your pneumatic system with the Haldex invention Protect-O coupling head. This device is a diaphragm that automatically seals the coupling head when the air hose is disconnected.
New: The new Trailer Application Guide is a unique tool that provides detailed information on trailer technology. The guide provides extremely user-friendly electronic access to the entire range of Haldex trailer-related systems. The vehicle construction industry, the workshop and the spare parts sector all benefit equally from this new level of system transparency.
New: The new S-TCV trailer control valve saves space and facilitates assembly. It is designed for tractors that tow pneumatically braked trailers. This compact solution combines different functions right through to the integrated solenoid valve for electric parking brake actuation and coordinates the tractor's hydraulic brake system with the pneumatic brake system of the towed unit.
The latest generation electronic brake system from Haldex, the EB+ Gen3, offers a wide range of connection possibilities, which is exactly what is needed to accommodate the ever-increasing number of electronically controlled trailer systems. Other features include extensive additional functions and new, extremely sturdy ECU housing.
The TEM® Safe Parking Single makes handling of uncoupled trailers almost foolproof. The park and shunt valve makes it impossible to permanently deactivate the parking brake, thereby preventing all associated risks.
The Haldex TPMS tyre pressure monitoring system offers considerable potential for savings and increased traffic safety. The system monitors not only tyre pressure but also tyre temperature.
RoRo function for both single and double circuits: COLAS®+ provides it all. The manual raise and lower valve can lock the system in a fixed position while Reset to Ride automatically activates the driving height from a defined speed as soon as the vehicle starts to move.
Designed as a non-model-specific platform concept, the ModulAir® saves space, reduces fuel consumption thanks to its strategic capabilities and is also particularly easy to assemble. The system is positioned between the compressor and the air tanks, has strategic capabilities and carries out a range of tasks from air drying to complex air distribution for the pneumatic sub-systems.
Invented exactly 101 years ago with well over 75 million units sold since then, the automatic brake adjuster, which has recently been further optimised in a number of areas, has made Haldex a global market leader. The S-ABA design allows for free selection of the control arm position, which thereby ensures simple and error-free installation
