Haldex Brake Systems is awarded Freightliner business Freightliner Corporation of Portland, OR has awarded Haldex Brake Systems the standard data book position for Long Stroke Brake Chamber technology, which includes spring brake actuators and service chambers. The long stroke products will become standard on the Century platform models as well as Sterling models. This business award is expected to add more then $5 million to Haldex Brake Systems' annual sales volume in North America. Chuck Kleinhagen, President of Haldex Brake Systems, in announcing the award indicated, "We are delighted that Freightliner has chosen Haldex actuators as standard for their vehicles.
