Haldex Selected to Supply Air Brake Systems for 32,000 United States Government Vehicles Haldex has been selected to supply critical brake system components for model M939 trucks operated by the US Government and stationed around the world. The value of this business will total over USD 20 m. over a 6 year period. A total of 32,000 vehicles will be retrofitted with modern braking systems in order to upgrade the performance and safety of the vehicles. The Brake Systems Division of the Haldex Group was selected to supply antilock braking systems (ABS), air dryers, various pneumatic valves and brake lining friction materials for this project. The comprehensive line of air system components offered by Haldex and the company's long experience with braking systems for heavy duty commercial vehicles were primary factors in its selection as a supplier for this project.
