Haldex strengthens its presence in Italy Haldex has acquired the business of the Italian agent PAGG srl. With its own sales company in Italy, Haldex strengthens its presence on the important Italian vehicle market PAGG has during many years acted as agent for Midland Grau, which Haldex acquired in 1998. Haldex automatic brake adjusters, however, have been sold through another agent on the Italian market. With the acquisition of PAGG's business and the establishing of an own company, Haldex Italia S.r.l., the sales on the Italian market will be strengthened and coordinated. Haldex yearly sales on the Italian market amounts presently to about 100 MSEK. With an own organization, sales are estimated to increase and the margins in the selling activity can be consolidated. The profit effect from the acquisition will be positive, but, in the total group context, of limited magnitude. Haldex is an innovator in vehicle technology and supplies proprietary products for trucks, cars and industrial vehicles on a global basis. The Group is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and has annual sales exceeding 6 billion Swedish Krona with 4,100 employees.
