Haldex supplements its aftermarket business

Haldex supplements its aftermarket business Haldex Midland Services, the Group's aftermarket division in North America for commercial vehicles, has made a complementary addition to the product range by acquiring the business of Stats Remanufacturing Center Inc., Omaha, Nebraska. The acquired business has yearly sales of 1.5 MUSD and encompasses remanufacturing of heavy duty starters and alternators for commercial vehicles. The acquired business will be transferred to and consolidated with Haldex Midland Services' remanufacturing unit in Marion, North Carolina and marketed under the Like-Nu TM brand. The division's remanufactured Like-Nu TM product offerings have been expanded to become the broadest in the North American heavy duty industry and the present acquisition supplements the range of rotary electric components. Haldex Midland Services is a leading North American supplier of new and remanufactured aftermarket products for commercial vehicles with yearly sales of approximately 140 million USD. Haldex is a global supplier of proprietary products for trucks, cars and industrial vehicles, with special emphasis on performance & safety.
