Haldex wins large brake friction business The Haldex Midland Services Division, which handles the North American aftermarket for brake products, has recently negotiated several heavy duty Private Brand Friction programs with major aftermarket customers with a total of 350 distribution points. The added business represents approximately 8 million USD in annual sales. Haldex enjoys an increasing share of the North American market for truck brake friction products and is a leading OEM disc brake pad supplier for medium duty hydraulic disc brakes. Haldex develops and manufactures friction materials to both drum and disc brakes for trucks at the Prattville, Alabama, site - a unit within the Haldex Brake Systems Division. The aftermarket for brake friction products is supplied through the Haldex Midland Services Division, which has 3 central distribution units and 20 regional relining centers in the U.S. and Canada. Haldex is a global supplier of proprietary products for trucks, cars and industrial vehicles, with special emphasis on performance & safety. The Group is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and has yearly sales of 5 BSEK with 4,300 employees. The Group has sales companies in Europe, North & South America and Asia.
