New Division Manager of Garphyttan Wire as of January 1, 2006

Ulf Melin, at present Country Manager of Sandvik’s subsidiary in Spain, has been appointed Division Manager of Garphyttan Wire as well as President of Haldex Garphyttan AB as of January 1, 2006.

Ulf Melin has previously been employed by Haldex Garphyttan AB for 10 years, a.o. as Business Area Manager, up to 1996 when he moved to Japan to work for Sandvik as Sales Manager for the Steel Division. In addition to his present position as Country Manager for Spain and Portugal, he has also been Sales Manager for Sandvik’s wire products in Europe, as well as responsible for Sandvik’s production unit for stainless wire in Barcelona. After 20 successful years as Division Manager of Garphyttan Wire, Mats Kälvemark leaves this position at his own request and take up the position as Senior Corporate Advisor to Haldex Group Management.
