Report from Haldex AB's Annual General Shareholders' Meeting March 25, 1999 Kenneth Hansen - Rally Cross - Haldex AWD system The Annual Meeting started with a short film showing rally cross races with Kenneth Hansen, who afterwards answered questions from Andreas Odén, TV4 Sport, about rally cross and the Haldex AWD system. -"With the Haldex system I get a much more stable driving and I can easier go into the curves. These are advantages that might give victory", summarized Kenneth. Kenneth Hansen is a manifold European and Swedish champion of rally cross with Citroën cars, which have more than 500 horsepower under the hood and equipped with Haldex AWD coupling. This last year, the car was equipped with a serial standard coupling from Haldex, which well withstands the tough driving conditions and the strong forces! President's speech In his speech at the meeting, the President & CEO Claes Warnander described how a new Haldex is starting to emerge: -"Our sales have doubled and the portion of high-tech products has increased considerably. We gave developed and launched substantial product innovations, such as AWD systems for cars as well as disc brakes and ABS systems for trucks." -"The integration of the Midland-Grau acquisition has gone well and its contribution to the Group's profits was considerably higher than expected. With the acquisition, the Brake Systems Division has become a systems supplier and a sizeable aftermarket business has been added to the Group." -"The Group's delivery rate during January-February 1999 has been an approximately the same level as during the last quarter previous year." Dividend The annual meeting confirmed the proposed dividend to the shareholders of SEK 3:00 per share. Tuesday, March 30, 1999 was confirmed as record day for dividend. Board members and auditors Ebbe Bengtsson, Jan Blomberg, Lars V Kylberg, Kurt Palmgren, Leif Rogersson och Claes Warnander were re-elected as Board members. jörn Fernström and Gunnar Widhagen were re-elected as auditors and Carl-Gustaf Gutberg and Berit Hernström as deputy auditors.
