Hallvarsson & Halvarsson Strengthens Its Life Science Offering – Recruits Senior Executive from the Pharmaceutical Industry

Jakob Tellgren, most recently Head of Northern Europe and the Baltics for the American pharmaceutical company MSD (Merck Sharp & Dohme), joins Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

On April 1, Jakob Tellgren will start as Senior Director with the task of leading and continuing to develop an already successful business into becoming Sweden's leading expert advisor in life sciences, together with the current Life Science team.

Jakob Tellgren left his position at MSD last autumn after 23 years with the company. At MSD, he has worked in various local subsidiaries as CEO, Business Unit Director, and Product Manager. He has also served as European Marketing Director, Global Brand Lead, and Vice President with global product responsibility for the company. Jakob has long been engaged with the board of LIF, including as Vice Chairman, and has also been instrumental in MSD's global partnership with the Karolinska Institute and Nordic partnerships with Microsoft.
