Handelsbanken Asset Management came out in first place in the category “External Asset Management 2021” – for the third consecutive year. This is the result of this year’s survey by Kantar SIFO Prospera.

Kantar SIFO Prospera has analysed returns, customer service, sales expertise, reports, branding and sustainability, with Handelsbanken Asset Management again ranking highly in all areas.

“We were especially excited to see what the results would be this year, given the extraordinary circumstances. It is so gratifying to see that our customers appreciate what we are doing in the long term. There is such fierce competition, there are new ways of working, and the markets have presented some complex challenges,” says Nils Jutterström, Head of Institutional Sales.

The survey was carried out during the period 16 March - 20 May 2021. It was based on customer interviews with 141 institutions in Sweden which have externally managed assets of at least SEK 300 million.

Over the last six years, Handelsbanken has been ranked number 1 (2021), 1 (2020), 1 (2019), 2 (2018), 3 (2017) and 1 (2016).

“We are very happy and proud to have been rated so highly by our customers over several years. We see it as an endorsement of our work to ensure customer satisfaction that customers have trusted us with more and more capital over the years,” says Nils Jutterström.

Institutional fund management has grown from SEK 14 billion to SEK 189 billion during the period 2010-2021.
