Handelsbanken: New online account earns higher interest
Today, Handelsbanken is launching an entirely new savings account: e-Kapitalkonto (e-Capital account). The interest rate is 2.75% on balances of SEK 100,000 and more.
Jarl Dahlerus, product manager at Handelsbanken, says, "Customers can open this account online. No strange features, no fees or other fuss - just a good interest rate."
This account is primarily a savings account. Jarl Dahlerus recommends the Allkort account as a transaction account, "There we have a 2.50% interest rate on balances under SEK 100,000."
