Peter Frösell, product manager at Handelsbanken Capital Markets, notes, "Sales on the Nordic markets were at record levels in 2006. All the countries displayed substantial growth. It is also good news that Handelsbanken Capital Markets has managed to further strengthen its market position, despite stiffening competition. Handelsbanken Capital Markets now has more than one-half of the Nordic market. Handelsbanken Capital Markets was the largest player in Sweden and Norway for the sixth successive year and the largest player in Finland for the fourth successive year."
