In September 2006, Reuters surveyed some 56 currency forecasters regarding accuracy in currency forecasts during the month - Handelsbanken came in third place. As for performance in predicting the average development of the US dollar (USD) in relation to the British pound (GBP) the euro (EUR) and the Japanese yen (JPY), Handelsbanken was surpassed only by the Bank of America, New York and HIFX, Windsor. No other Swedish bank placed among the top 20 on the list.

 

Moreover, in 2005 Handelsbanken was also ranked number three worldwide in the accuracy of its currency forecasts.
