Handelsbanken has most satisfied customers

Handelsbanken is the bank with the highest customer satisfaction in Sweden. This was reported in the survey conducted by Svenskt Kvalitetsindex (SKI) for Q1 2008. The survey is statistically significant and was based on a large number of interviews by phone.

Of the four major banks in Sweden, Handelsbanken is the only one where customer satisfaction is increasing among both corporate and private customers.

Svenskt Kvalitetsindex (SKI) annually conducts customer satisfaction surveys in various sectors. Beginning this year, this independent institution in cooperation with the Stockholm School of Economics has expanded its survey of the banking sector. This means that survey results for the four major banks in Sweden will now be presented each quarter, instead of just once a year as previously.
 
The figures for Q1 show that Handelsbanken is the only bank where customer satisfaction is increasing among corporate customers. Handelsbanken is also on top on the private customer side; however, customer satisfaction there is increasing for all major banks.
 
In addition, Handelsbanken has the most loyal customers. Loyalty has also increased among both corporate and private customers compared with last year.
