Handelsbanken once again rated best by real estate customers

Handelsbanken has the most satisfied customers in the real estate sector, according to Kantar Prospera’s annual survey, Corporate Banking Real Estate 2023 Sweden. The Bank was also recently named “Business Bank of the Year” and “Sweden’s Small Enterprise Bank”.
We have put significant efforts into the development of our corporate offering and we see this as an endorsement that we are delivering real value for our customers. Long-lasting, close relationships are the central factor in our offering, and these are becoming ever more important in the context of the increasingly uncertain times we live in,” says Susanna Svartz, Head of Corporate Banking Sweden.

Survey respondents put Handelsbanken in first place in Kantar Prospera’s customer satisfaction ranking for Corporate Banking in the Swedish real estate sector. Personal relationships, an understanding of customers’ needs, first-rate advisory services on sustainability and quick decision-making form the basis for the Bank’s leading position.

“We have long-term relationships and work in close co-operation with our real estate customers. The sector is important to Handelsbanken and we will continue doing our utmost to remain at the forefront – whatever the conditions in the market,” says Charlotte Wilson, Head of Debt Capital Markets.

This is the second year in a row that real estate customers have given Handelsbanken top ranking. The surveyed banks were assessed on the basis of numerous criteria addressing areas such as personal contact, co-ordination of offering, specialist expertise and tailored customer solutions, as well as others.

Prospera’s customer satisfaction survey, Real Estate 2023, refers to banks’ offerings to the real estate sector and is based on responses from financial officers and treasury managers at 54 Swedish real estate companies.
