Handelsbanken top ranked by real estate customers

Handelsbanken has secured first place in Kantar Prospera’s annual customer satisfaction survey, “Corporate Banking Real Estate 2022 Sweden”.
“We are now seeing the results of our long-term focus on developing our offering and relationships with our real estate customers,” says Susanna Svartz, Head of Corporate Banking Sweden.

Handelsbanken has advanced to first place in Kantar Prospera’s customer satisfaction ranking for Corporate Banking in the Swedish real estate sector. Customers awarded Handelsbanken the highest marks for personal relationships, understanding of the customer’s needs, proactivity, advisory services regarding sustainability, and quick decision making.

“This is a result of long-term relationships and close co-operation with our customers. We will continue to strive for cutting-edge relevance, particularly now as volatility is growing in the markets,” says Charlotte Wilson, Head of Debt Capital Markets Loan origination.

Handelsbanken and other banks were ranked on the basis of numerous criteria addressing areas such as personal contact, co-ordination of offering and specialists, specialist expertise and tailored customer solutions, as well as others. The results illuminate how important active advisory services relating to sustainability issues are to customers.

Prospera’s customer satisfaction survey, Real Estate 2022, refers to banks’ offerings to the real estate sector and is based on responses from financial officers and treasury managers at 46 Swedish real estate companies with total assets of over EUR 1 billion. Read more here.
