Structured Products, the leading magazine in this area, has awarded Handelsbanken its "Best Structured Products House in the Nordic Region" prize. Handelsbanken Capital Markets received the prize at a ceremony recently in London.

Magnus Fageräng, head of structured products at Handelsbanken Capital Markets:
"We were very happy to receive the award in London. In Sweden, we have been perceived as the leading player for some time, and it's very stimulating that we have now been given international attention as well."

Handelsbanken was awarded the prize thanks to an innovative and broad range of structured products for the whole Nordic market.

Paul Lyon, editor of Structured Products Magazine:
"Handelsbanken may be a Swedish powerhouse, but its commitment to all Nordic markets is to be applauded. Its hybrid range in particular has been widely praised as evidence of the bank's quest for innovation."
"Quite simply the bank is a one stop shop for structured products in the Nordic region. This was a particularly tough category given the number of countries the award covers, but Handelsbanken really did stand out from the crowd thanks to its exhaustive and innovative range of products. What's more we were also impressed by the team's market knowledge and commitment."
