Management changes at Handelsbanken
Mikael Sørensen has been appointed Head of Handelsbanken’s new regional bank in the Netherlands. At the same time, he will be appointed Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken and become a member of the Bank’s senior management team. Mikael Sørensen is currently working as Handelsbanken's general manager in the Netherlands. (Read more about the Netherlands in a separate press release.)
He will take up his new position on 6 February.
Stefan Nilsson has been appointed the new Head of Handelsbanken’s regional bank in Eastern Sweden. He will also be a member of the Bank’s senior management team. Steffan Nilsson is currently General Manager of Handelsbanken US. He succeeds Mikael Westerback who will be the new General Manager for Handelsbanken in China.
Stefan Nilsson will take up his new position on 1 May. Mikael Westerback will take up his new position on 1 June.
John Parker has been appointed as the new Head of Handelsbanken’s Regional Bank Northern Great Britain. He will also be a member of the Bank’s senior management team. John Parker is currently regional area manager at Handelsbanken’s Regional Bank Southern Great Britain He succeeds Tracey Davidson, who is to take on a key role regarding the integration of the Heartwood wealth and investment management business within Handelsbanken. She will continue to report to Head of UK Anders Bouvin. (Read more about Heartwood in a separate press release.)
All the above take up their new positions on 1 March.
