Management changes at Handelsbanken

Per Beckman has been appointed Head of Handelsbanken’s Central Credit Department. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Bank’s Group management team and is currently Chief Executive of Stadshypotek. He succeeds Lars Kahnlund, who will be retiring.

Per Beckman will be taking up his new position on 1 May 2014, at the same time being appointed an Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken. A new chief executive of Stadshypotek has not yet been appointed.

Åsa Willén has been appointed the new Head of Handelsbanken’s Forestry and Farming business area. She will also be a member of the Bank’s Group management team. Åsa Willén currently works as a Regional Area Manager at Handelsbanken Forestry and Farming. She succeds Rainer Lawniczak, who is leaving the Bank to start up his own business.

Åsa Willén will take up her new position on 1 June 2014.
