Managerial appointment at Handelsbanken
Inga-Lill Nicolin has been appointed head of Regional Bank Norway and Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken as of 1 July 2003. She is currently responsible for the project of harmonising the Bank with the new Basel regulations regarding capital adequacy. She has previously been Regional Area Manager at Regional Bank Stockholm City and branch manager in Solna and Stenungsund.
Inga-Lill Nicolin succeeds Björn-Åke Wilsenius, EVP, who has been in charge of expanding Handelsbanken's operations in Norway since these were started in 1985. Until he retires in 2004, he will be at the disposal of the Group Chief Executive for special assignments.
