New executive appointment at Svenska Handelsbanken
Lars Kahnlund has been appointed head of the Northern Norrland regional bank and Executive Vice President of Svenska Handelsbanken. He is currently area manager for the Nordic countries at Handelsbanken Finans and succeeds Stefan Nilsson who has been appointed chief executive of Handelsbanken's subsidiary SPP.
Lars Kahnlund, who takes up the position on 17 June, was previously regional area manger at Handelsbanken Finland and has held the same position in the Northern Norrland regional bank.
