Svenska Handelsbanken holds more than 90 % of Midtbank AS
At the end of the application period, Svenska Handelsbanken had received acceptances corresponding to 96 % of the capital and more than 84 % of the total number of votes in Midtbank.
Immediately after the extraordinary general meeting at Midtbank AS on
14 May 2001, Svenska Handelsbanken will announce whether it intends to complete the takeover bid.
