Svenska Handelsbanken issues hybrid capital
Subject to market conditions, Svenska Handelsbanken will shortly launch a euro-denominated capital contribution security. The securities may only be redeemed with prior approval from the Finansinspektionen (Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) and will be classified as tier one capital. Handelsbanken has not previously issued any securities of this kind.
According to plan, the exact amount and further details will be announced in the middle of next week.
