XACT VINX30 - the first ETF with Nordic exposure

XACT Fonder AB is as of May 8, 2006 listing a new exchange-traded index fund, XACT VINX30TM, on the Stockholm stock exchange.
 
XACT VINX30TM is a listed mutual fund which tracks the VINX30TM Index. The objective of the fund is to offer a cost-effective investment which reflects the performance of the 30 most traded shares on the Nordic stock exchanges. Handelsbanken Markets will be the marketmaker for XACT VINX30TM.
 
VINX30TM is part of the index family which the Nordic stock exchange OMX launched in early April, together with the exchanges in Oslo and Reykjavik. The aim of VINXTM is to reflect performance in the Nordic region. VINX30TM is a tradable index consisting of the 30 largest and most traded stocks on the exchanges in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo and Reykjavik.

XACT Fonder was founded in 2000 and is now the Nordic market leader in exchange-traded funds. In 2000, XACT launched the first exchange-traded fund in the Nordic region. At present, there are five XACT funds listed on the Stockholm stock exchange, one on the Oslo stock exchange and one on the Helsinki stock exchange.
