Handheld Appoints New Business Development Director

Handheld Group, a leading global manufacturer of rugged mobile computers, today announced the appointment of Fredrik Elmers as Business Development Director. Fredrik Elmers will lead efforts to support Handheld customers who require customized rugged hardware solutions.

Fredrik Elmers brings strong leadership skills, a deep background in finance, and keen business insight to the Handheld Group management team. He has over 10 years of experience in team management and business development for Nordea Bank, the largest financial services group in the Nordic region and one of the top 10 financial service companies in Europe. There, he supervised 19 branch managers overseeing more than 200 employees. Fredrik has a personal background in agriculture, and holds Master of Science degrees in economics and agronomy from the University of Reading and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
