Handheld continues to grow with new hires and office expansions

[Lidköping, Sweden, June 4, 2020.] Handheld Group, a leading global manufacturer of rugged mobile computers, continues to expand its organization with new hires and newly expanded office locations. This week, the company announced new employees Simon Bergenwall as Product Manager and Lisa Lundmark as Head of Accounting. Additionally, Handheld has started 2020 with office expansions in both Germany and the U.S., and will move its headquarters in Sweden to a new building in September.

Simon Bergenwall, Product Manager, has an engineering background with a degree in electrical engineering from Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has worked for companies including Sony-Ericsson, Electrolux and TI Group Automotive. At Handheld, Simon will be joining the Product Management team that manages and oversees product lifecycles.

Lisa Lundmark, Head of Accounting, joins Handheld from Ernst & Young, where she spent the last 8 years. Her educational background is in accounting, and prior to her role at Ernst & Young she worked as an accounting consultant. Lisa will be joining the Finance team at the Handheld headquarters in Lidköping, and will oversee accounting and finance functions for all of Handheld’s international subsidiaries.
