HANRO has been producing premium lingerie, nightwear, and loungewear for over 135 years. The company was established in 1884 in the Swiss town of Liestal by Albert HANdschin and Carl ROnus and since then has stood for understated luxury, high quality, and timeless style. Unique materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and attention to detail are at the heart of every collection. The result: carefully designed and sustainable lingerie that embodies elegance and aesthetic with every fiber. HANRO products are made in Europe and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified. 80% of fabrics are produced in Vorarlberg, Austria in the company’s own fabric production facility. Manufacturing takes place at the company’s sewing factory in Portugal. Today the company can be found in the finest shopping destinations in almost 50 countries around the world. HANRO’s in-house fabrics production received sustainability certification from OEKO-TEX®

The in-house fabrics production facility of HANRO in Austria (Vorarlberg) has successfully obtained the OEKO-TEX® STeP certificate, the new quality seal for sustainable textile production.OEKO-TEX is an independent testing and certification system for textile products from all stages of production along the textile value chain. The new certification seal „Sustainable Textile Production“ (STeP) has been introduced in 2013 and is an advancement of the former seal OEKO-TEX 1000.
