HARMAN Names Raj Sharma as Vice President, Automotive Customer Business Unit

STAMFORD, CT –– Harman International Industries, Incorporated, the leading global audio and infotainment group (NYSE: HAR) today announced that Raj Sharma will be joining Harman as Vice President, Customer Business Unit, effective October 20, 2014. He will report directly to Sachin Lawande, Executive Vice President and President, Infotainment and will be based in HARMAN’s Farmington Hills, Michigan, offices.

Sharma will join HARMAN after 11 years at Panasonic Automotive Systems, where he held a variety of senior sales and program management roles, most recently as Vice President for the OEM Customer Business Group. Earlier in his career, Sharma spent 13 years at General Motors. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
