Harris Pye Engineering continues to uphold its industry presence with the opening of another office to target the offshore sector – in the Granite City, Aberdeen.

With continued development and opportunities arising within the North Sea area over the last 40 years and coupled with the fact the Group has worked in the region for over 25 years, the Group acknowledged this location as the next logical step to support their existing client base. The Aberdeen expansion is being headed by the General Manager of North Sea Operations, Michael Jensen.

Mark Prendergast, Group Managing Director has been quoted as saying “Harris Pye Engineering has talked for many years concerning the possibility of an Aberdeen branch, the opening of our JLT Dubai offshore office in April this year has facilitated an increase of resources to take this from a mere goal to fruition”.

David Hayden, UK Managing Director was quoted as saying, “there is significant presence in this region of major players originating from foreign soil, it seems only natural a proudly British organisation should join the ranks and offer a truly local option to the industry”.

To celebrate and further support the recent immersion in to the area, Harris Pye Engineering will be exhibiting at the SPE Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition in Stand 3A150 from the 3-6 September 2013.

With the development of these new bases and an increase in engineering skills the global expansion will continue with several other potential bases in the pipeline for the Group.
