Harris Pye Engineering proudly continues operations as a manufacturing and export organisation in the heart of South Wales. The Group has key interest in supporting major industry sectors in the region and as such act as a key component in the fast growing renewable energy sector due to the variety of fabrication, marine and engineering skills offered to clients and developers of major projects undertaken in Wales.

The company’s expansion in to Llandow will allow Harris Pye to grow its’ international business and has helped create new job opportunities and increase employment within the South Wales area, this is due to the facility being one of the largest fabrication and engineering workshops in Wales.

The job creation is strongly supported by retaining, harnessing and developing local and international talent with Harris Pye continuing their strong affiliation and connection with Swansea University offering the ‘Science without Borders’ programme and the Brazilian Government by investing in a training school and taking on graduates. This trainee programme is offered to future welders who are then thoroughly trained as apprentices and typically retained by Harris Pye using this traineeship as the first stepping stone of their long term, worldwide career in the engineering field.
