Sensus Appoints New UK General Manager

Sensus, the leading water and heat metering systems company, has appointed Jamie Longman as General Manager of its UK operations. Mr Longman takes up the position having previously served as UK Sales Director for the company, which is a global leader in metering technology and automatic meter reading solutions. “The UK stands on the threshold of a smart metering revolution,” says Jamie Longman. “As such, this is a very exciting time for our industry, our water utility customers and for Sensus, which is at the forefront of the smart-grid technology that will become a key communications architecture for the UK in the coming years.” In line with the company’s growth plans, Sensus has moved to new UK headquarters in Southampton, from where it will be rolling out new generation metering technologies and communications systems.
