New Hästens store in Copenhagen City
With a strategic location in an exclusive area, the new store run by Anton Dam, will strengthen Hästens’ position as the premier manufacturer of handmade quality beds. The grand opening will take place on September 18, 2014.
Following his already successful store in Denmark, Hästens partner Martin Hansen, Anton Dam, has had the desire to invest further in Hästens for a long time. When finding a suitable space, at the best location in Copenhagen City, it was time to realize the dream of bringing better sleep to the people in the Copenhagen area.
The idea with the new store is that it should feel like coming home to Hästens, where you get to know the brand in a relaxed atmosphere. The Hästens Sleep Spa retail concept was created to deliver a heightened sensory experiencearound the subject of sleep. The first Sleep Spa opened in Stockholm in 2012, where consumers displayed greater curiosity, were generally more relaxed, and their time spent in-store increased.
The four zones of the Sleep Spa
In line with research insights, the Sleep Spa concept is divided into four zones that guide the consumer through the store in a way that optimizes their buying experience.
Enter the the store, zone 1, and catch your first glimpse of a Hästens bed emblazoned with seasonal messaging and new products.
In the Heart section of the store, zone 2, you learn how to achieve your ‘best sleep’. Read testimonials, view videos, experience the materials, explore accessories of pillows, duvets and bed linens.
In zone 3 you enter the Sleep Spa. Relax and choose the perfect bed while listening to tranquil healing music in soothing dimmed light. After removing your coat and shoes at the check in area, you will be issued a personal pillow to take with you from bed to bed. You can lie down and even take a nap.
Finally you reach the Personalization area in zone 4. A sales expert will help you choose and personalize your bed from a clean slate to your own finished product.
The characteristics is the same as you find in Hästens sleep spa stores all over the world. With the store in Copenhagen, Hästens continues to broaden the footprints across Europe. New strategic stores have recently opened in Antwerpen, Helsinki City and Brussels, and a new store in Madrid will premiere in October.
