HATS partnered up with Northgate on new £1.3m deal

London, UK - The Healthcare Transport Services (HATS) Group, today announces a new partnership agreement with Northgate Vehicle Hire (NVH). 

The HATS Group is a specialised transport service provider to the public sector, in both the healthcare and education industries, within Greater London and the adjacent counties.

The partnership involved the delivery of approximately £1.3m of brand new vehicles, as part of HATS’ Group home to school fleet. The new fleet will allow HATS to provide an even better service to its customers in terms of comfort and safety.

Northgate PLC operates more than 53,000 vehicles from 67 locations with its 356 technicians (including 56 mobile technicians); this has given HATS a robust contingency level which helps it to support the needs of its clients. 

Chris Cannon, Fleet Compliance Manager at HATS, who will be responsible for the fleet of Northgate vehicles commented, “I am very pleased with this new partnership. I was the Fleet Services Manager at Ford for many years and so I have a good understanding of Ford products. Everybody from Northgate has been great to work with so far, and our drivers think the new kit is brilliant which is obviously important to us. Let’s hope it’s the first of many deliveries.”

Jules Taylor, New Business Manager of Northgate commented: “During the first quarter of 2014, HATS and NVH entered in to a new partnership agreement which saw the supply of 26 vehicles in Q2. 

NVH provided HATS with a flexible, risk free acquisition method for the fleet whilst demonstrating an efficient maintenance support network. This would ensure HATS could focus their time and energy on doing what they do best - running reliable, hassle free transport services for their clients.”
