Silverstone, Northamptonshire – Wednesday, October 27, 2010; CMA Marketing, renowned as the marketing force behind motorsport industry heavyweights like Xtrac and AP Racing, is embarking on an ambitious new journey by opening a Silverstone office.

The aim of the new business, to be based at the Silverstone Innovation Centre, is to expand the strategic marketing services already offered by CMA and offer cutting edge marketing solutions. “As the economy comes out of recession, it will be imperative for companies in the motorsport and automotive sectors to be proactive when it comes to marketing themselves, and CMA Silverstone will be here to assist those companies wanting to gain ground quickly,” says Geoff Cook, who formed CMA Marketing 20 years ago. Managing Director of the new office will be Pim van Baarsen, well known throughout the industry through his roles with the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA), Xtrac and Haymarket Exhibitions. “I’ve wanted to start my own motorsport marketing agency ever since I came to the UK, so it is fantastic that we can now make it happen” says Pim. “The opportunity to team up with Geoff was one that was not to be missed. Our collective experience, knowledge and know-how, means that we are in a unique position to offer bespoke and impactful solutions for motorsport and automotive businesses. It also means that there is virtually not a job we can’t do. Creating a website, re-designing a corporate identity, producing film and video, executing a launch campaign, you name it: we have all the resources required to deliver any marketing project to the highest standards.” Geoff agrees the collaboration will offer clients a powerful marketing resource; “Pim and I have known each other for a number of years and, with our different areas of complementary marketing specialisations, our combined force will prove invaluable for companies looking for a marketing edge that will make all the difference to their bottom line.” For further information visit the new CMA Silverstone website at http://www.cma-silverstone.com/ or contact Pim at pim.vanbaarsen@cma-silverstone.com -Ends- Notes to Editors: Please click on the thumbnail below to download the CMA Silverstone logo.
